Nicole Smith is a dedicated public servant with over 15 years of experience in the health education and public health field. She has been a member of the Ohio SOPHE Chapter for nearly 13 years and has held various roles on the Ohio SOPHE board, including serving as President in 2017. Most recently, she has served as the National Delegate for the Ohio Chapter and is a House of Delegates Delegate Trustee on the National SOPHE Board of Trustees. In her “day” job, Nicole is the Manager of the Cardiovascular Health Program and Diabetes Prevention and Management Program at the Ohio Department of Health. She holds a B.S in Health and Sports Studies from Miami University, and a MPH from the University of South Carolina. She earned her CHES credential in 2012 and the MCHES credential in 2022.
