Harriet Van Houten is a sophomore with a strong interest in forensic science, specifically in evidence-based investigations. In her second year with the Women’s Alliance, Harriet has already made a significant impact by presenting on human trafficking at local, regional, and national meetings and continues to remain committed to raising awareness and educating others. This year, Harriet is working alongside her peers to broaden her focus on social justice by educating the school community on adverse childhood experiences.
Together, these 3 teens have completed Human Trafficking teen training via the Fresno Justice Coalition and exemplify the power of youth advocacy and education, using their voices to make a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond.
