Anupria Davenport, MPH, CHES®, is currently a 4th year doctoral student in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She embarked on her educational and professional path in public health after recognizing a need for support, opportunity development, and resource allocation within her community. Anupria's experiences in the public health sector, including a focus on adolescent sexual health, have provided her with the expertise, tools, and collaborative relationships necessary to help empower communities. She conducts evidence-based research and provides support that fosters improved sexual health, overall well-being, and sustainable change. These efforts have provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges and health issues affecting underserved communities.
