Marietta Orlowski is a Professor and Chair of Population and Public Health Sciences at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. Her career began in a multi-specialty care practice and advanced to directing community health education. After a decade as a practitioner, she transitioned to academia, focusing on academic-community partnerships and applying behavioral science to public health.
She has led two federally funded school nutrition and physical activity projects and currently works on trauma-informed mobile services for communities affected by substance use. Dr. Orlowski earned a Ph.D. in health promotion from The Ohio State University and serves on the boards of NCHEC and her local health department.
