Dr. David Veloz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Public Health Promotion at California State University, Stanislaus. He earned his PhD in Public Health from the University of California, Merced, where his research focused on the intersections of air pollution perception and environmental public health. Dr. Veloz’s work centers on public views of air quality and the factors that influence these perceptions, aiming to enhance understanding of how they affect health-related behaviors. Through his research, he seeks to inform public health initiatives and promote awareness of environmental issues.
