Hagere specializes in health communication and behavior change, with extensive experience in health promotion research and a deep understanding of social determinants of health. Before joining KFF, she was an assistant professor at Boston University, where she focused on health promotion strategies for diverse audiences. At KFF, she applies this expertise to help lead a program on health information and trust, which is aimed at providing health, media, and policy professionals with independent insights into the evolving health information landscape and its impact on behavior and policy.
