Kelsi Becker, PhD

Dr. Kelsi J. (Wood) Becker,CHES, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Allied Health Department at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash, where she teaches in both the Public Health and Exercise Science programs. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2019, with a focus on school factors associated with non-medical prescription drug use in adolescents. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Becker has been involved in a variety of teaching and research roles. Her research interests include adolescent health behavior, physical activity, and public health education. Dr. Becker has published several peer-reviewed articles on topics ranging from wearable fitness technology to substance use among adolescents.
