Heather Wingo is a Program Associate for Health at the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service and a Doctor of Public Health student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Certified in Public Health, Heather is a dedicated public health advocate with a passion for improving rural health outcomes. She leverages her diverse skill set – ranging from being a Certified Group Facilitator and Certified Volunteer Manager to a Registered Yoga Teacher – to create inclusive and effective health programs. Through her work, Heather is committed to advancing equity by ensuring that all communities, especially those in rural areas, have access to the resources they need to thrive.
