Raphael Adesiyan is a doctoral candidate in Health Promotion at the University of Kentucky, with a research focus on vaping and tobacco use prevention among young people. He serves as an instructor of Human Health and Wellness course for undergraduates. He is an active member of the EMPOWER team, which is committed to reducing tobacco use among Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. Raphael is a recipient of the prestigious UNITE PRIORITY Research Area award, highlighting his dedication to advancing health equity and tobacco prevention. He has presented his work at numerous conferences, including KPHA, MWERA, CCTS, and others. With his expertise in youth health, Raphael is establishing himself as a leading advocate for health equity, tobacco use and vaping prevention and a contributor to impactful public health research.
