Dr. Jennifer L. Evans is an Assistant Teaching Professor & Director of Curriculuar Innovation in the Department of Public Health and Health Sciences at Northeastern University. Dr. Evans has been an educator and health educator over ten years, teaching courses focused on health education, program planning and evaluation, and sexual and reprodutive health. Her ongoing research interests include human sexuality, sexual violence, and health inequities. Dr. Evans’ current research projects include examining condom and emergency contraception availability and accessibility and stealthing (non-consensual condom removal) behaviors. Dr. Evans is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®) and a member of SOPHE, APHA and is President of Eta Sigma Gamma, a public health education society.
