Dr. Tseng is an associate professor of behavioral and community health sciences at the School of Public Health, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. His research interests include community-based participatory research (CBPR), childhood obesity, tobacco control, risk behavioral patterns, health promotion interventions and evaluations, health disparities, and cancer prevention among ethnic minorities and underserved populations. As PI or co-investigator on several NIH-funded grants, he is developing effective intervention approaches and measures of risk behaviors, including SSBs, social determent of health, and other psychosocial factors relevant to obesity, chronic disease, and cancer.
