Susan Zies, M.Ed.

Susan Zies, an Assistant Professor and Extension Educator in Family and Consumer Sciences, has made significant scholarly contributions during her over 30 years at Ohio State University Extension. Her journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Northern Illinois University and a master’s in education from Bowling Green State University. She has honed her skills in public health through her work with WIC in Kentucky and Ohio, and her expertise has been recognized through her presentations at national and international conferences. Susan's role as a co-author of seven journal articles further demonstrates her commitment to advancing the field. She also serves as a hub supervisor for Public Health Americorps, extending her influence to the community.
