Meghna Lama is a dedicated public health professional and an Albert Schweitzer Fellow focused on advancing health equity and mental wellness for underserved populations. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at UTHealth Houston, Meghna has a background in dental surgery and extensive experience working with marginalized communities, including refugee populations in both the U.S. and abroad. Through projects like the Big Sisters Circle, she has developed and led culturally tailored health education programs that promote resilience, social inclusion, and socioeconomic empowerment for newly resettled refugee women.
