Kari Weiss is a Doctor of Nurse Practitioner student at the University of Utah, graduating in April 2025. She holds a master's degree in Health Promotion and Education and two bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Human Development and Family Studies. As a future Pediatric practitioner, she aims to provide trauma-informed care to her patients. One of her goals is to set up a primary care clinic for children who are adopted. Other research she has worked previously on is lethal means reduction, skin color representation, and racism in nursing. She is an AHEC scholar, an ANEW scholar, a NAPNAP scholarship recipient, and nominated to be part of the Women's Leadership Institute.
