Dr. Ashley White Jones is an instructional assistant professor at the University of Mississippi. Her academic degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Master of Public Health both from Jackson State University and Doctor of Philosophy in Health Education and Promotion from the University of Alabama. Her academic research interest focuses on health equity and disparities in the Black communities in the South using community-based participatory research and culturally responsive curricula. She has worked collaboratively to develop a curriculum for nursing and public health students and professionals centered on Black maternal health.
