Zakariah Robinson is an MPH student in the Epidemiology department at the University of Delaware. As a graduate research assistant, she investigates the intersection of domestic violence and the COVID-19 pandemic. With over three years of research experience, Zakariah has focused on women’s health inequities, particularly in maternal health and interpersonal violence, through a public health lens. Her passion for health equity began during her undergraduate studies at California State University, Northridge, where she participated in the NIH-funded BUILD PODER program. Zakariah is driven by a commitment to translating research into policy advocacy and public health interventions that foster meaningful change.
