Dr. Schulz is a Professor of Public Health Education and the Director of the Office of Health Promotion at Eastern Michigan University. His primary professional interests are in the area of health risk behaviors (specifically those related to substance use) and social determinants of health as they relate to health disparities. He has been exploring the role of nature in well being and participated in training conducted by The Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.
