Dr. Melissa Wigginton is a Professor of Public Health at California Baptist University. She holds a DrPH in Health Education from Loma Linda University, a Master of Science in Health and Fitness Promotion from California State University (CSU), Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Science from CSU, San Bernardino. Dr. Wigginton currently serves as policy chair and Governing Councilor for the Physical Activity Section of the American Public Health Association. Her research and teaching interests include chronic disease prevention, childhood obesity, health promotion, health communication, and physical activity.
