Da’Jon Stoudemire, a highly motivated public health scholar, has dedicated his time to understanding underlying factors contributing to various health inequities. As an MPH candidate at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Da’Jon brings a unique background in both domestic and international health and has worked with not-for-profit organizations to address issues and disparities related to Sexual and Gender minorities in East Africa. With real-world and practical experience, Da’Jon recognizes stigma as a fundamental cause of health issues and will continue to address them.
His honors include being recognized as an HBCU White House Initiative scholar, Advancing Representation in minority health research scholar, and HBCU American Heart Association Scholar
