Meagan Young Schlinkert is a Ph.D. candidate in Global Health at Arizona State University and has a master’s degree in Public Health from Baylor University. She has over a decade of community health, evaluation, and quality improvement experience, including work with health departments, local healthcare systems, and international nonprofits. Meagan is an applied mixed-methods researcher with hands-on experience in maternal health, health equity, communicable diseases, WASH, and community interventions in Arizona, Texas, Latin America, and Africa. Meagan also has experience leading multicultural teams and has direct practice experience with refugees and asylum seekers. Meagan is the proud mother of two young children and loves to travel, be outside, and try new things.
