Indiana University School of Public Health
Bloomington, Indiana, United States
Katherine Jochim Pope is currently a PhD candidate at the Indiana University-Bloomington School of Public Health. Trained as a nurse, she has an extensive background in health and teaching around the world and brings that expertise to her undergraduate classes at IU. While her research area is the built environment and health, she has followed her passion and branched out into teaching about stress management and kindness. She restructured her stress management classes at IU and co-designed a brand new kindness course at IU that has been popular and impactful. She works with her partner-in-crime, Dr. Lauren Baney, to inspire students to make a difference in their community through kindness.
