Chera Sevcik, MS, is the Executive Director for Health and Human Services of Faribault & Martin Counties, a bi-county public health and human services agency located in South Central Minnesota. Chera oversees a 22 million dollar annual operating budget and employs 140 staff in the agency. In addition to acting as the Executive Director, Chera assumes the Community Health Services Administrator role, directly overseeing the Division of Public Health within the organization. Chera serves on numerous state and regional committees, including the Executive Committee for the Local Public Health Association and co-chair for the Minnesota Performance Management Work Group that is part of the State Community Health Services Advisory Committee. She also serves as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Health Science at Minnesota State University-Mankato and is the recipient of the 2024 MPHA Paul and Sheila Wellstone Public Health Achievement Award.
