Kelly McCue Nation, MPH, is a Research Scientist for the Center for Health Equity Research at Northern Arizona University. Kelly’s research focuses primarily on maternal and child health and public health education, especially in rural and American Indian communities. She is a member of numerous committees and boards that aim to improve maternal and child health in Arizona. Kelly works closely with Diné College, Navajo Nation’s tribal college, where she teaches a course for the BS in Public Health program, as well as co-leads the Navajo-based Indigenous Summer Enhancement Program (ISEP). ISEP is a product of a NIH grant partnership between Diné College and Northern Arizona University (the Navajo NARCH Partnership) that aims to develop and expand the Indigenous public health workforce on Navajo Nation.
