Robert Bensley, PhD, is a Professor and Program Director for the Bachelor of Science in Public Health program at Western Michigan University, as well as past presdient of Eta SIgma Gamma National Health Edcation Honorary. Over the past 32 years, his research interests have focused on using technology modalities to influence health behavior change. He is the founder of Wichealth.org, which has impacted parent-child feeding behavior change in over 15 million WIC clients across 50 states and tribal nations. Dr. Bensley has served as principal investigator on over 400 externally funded contracts, totaling over $26 million, supporting the development and implementation of technology-based health behavior change programming. Dr. Bensley was a Fulbright Senior Scholar in 2003 focusing on health promotion activities at the Nelson Mandela University in South Africa.
