Learn trauma-informed, inclusive leadership strategies to minimize workplace burnout and promote restoration and belonging.
Adopt one tool for restoration that an be applied to your professional practice immediately.
Brief Abstract Summary: The massive uncertainties and shifts of the last several years since even before the pandemic have catalyzed the need for structures of deep community care and inclusive practices in our service-based workplaces to prevent burnout and maximize thriving. In this session, participants will explore strategies to promote inclusion, belonging, and opportunities for embodied wellness during the work day. The presenter will draw from lessons learned through her 20+ years of work as a program designer, resilience educator, healing practice coach and founding director of the UCLA GRIT Peer Coaching Program. In this engaging session, participants will dialogue with each other, experience a guided practice for personal restoration, and learn ways to integrate resilience-building structures for enhanced workplace wellness.

In this session, participants will explore strategies to promote inclusion, belonging, and opportunities for embodied wellness as they serve others in their role. The presenter will draw from lessons learned through her 20+ years of work as a program designer, resilience educator, healing practice coach and founding director of the UCLA GRIT Peer Coaching Program. In this engaging session, participants will learn key terms to enhance their knowledge on trauma-informed care and inclusive leadership. Participants will review the latest data on burnout and use the social ecological model to identify structural and interpersonal strategies for activating organizational resilience. In addition, they will dialogue with each other, experience a guided practice for personal restoration, and learn ways to integrate resilience-building structures into their professional spaces.
