Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Identify the efforts and population served by the Orange County Food Bank.
  • Describe the types of nutrient-rich foods contained in the monthly food box.
  • Demonstrate the importance of volunteering in food bank settings.
  • Engage and have fun while working alongside colleagues to make a difference packing food boxes.
The Orange County Food Bank distributes over 24,000 food boxes to seniors each month at 70 distribution sites in Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside Counties. Join forces with your health education colleagues to pack food boxes benefiting vulnerable seniors during this two-hour event. Bring your comfortable shoes, high-energy, and competitive spirit!
